Flora Mae

Flora Mae Vintage is a tribute to the legacy of my great-grandmother, Flora Mae Doville—a home economics teacher, quilter, and matriarch who believed in the beauty of handmade work and the stories woven into everyday life. Inspired by her love of craft, community, and thoughtful living, we offer curated vintage finds and handmade goods meant to be treasured for generations.

The misson behind Flora Mae

Flora Mae Vintage was born from the life and legacy of my great-grandmother, Flora Mae Doville—a devoted educator, accomplished quilter, and the heart of our family. Flora Mae spent her life teaching not only academics, but life lessons, believing deeply in the value of patience, creativity, and caring for others.

A lifelong lover of handwork and tradition, she was a founding member of the Belle Point Quilters Guild and lovingly known by many as the “Sparks Quilt Lady,” creating dozens of quilts that brought comfort and beauty into public spaces for decades. Her hands were rarely still, and her work was always done with purpose and heart.

Inspired by her creativity, generosity, and timeless sense of home, Flora Mae Vintage offers thoughtfully sourced vintage pieces and handmade goods that celebrate craftsmanship, history, and the quiet beauty of things made to last. Every piece is chosen with the hope that it will carry its own story forward—just as Flora Mae did.
